Music Lessons

If you have signed your daughter up for a music lesson (piano, violin, ukulele etc), the music teachers are in the process of making contact with their students. We have a number of piano and violin teachers on the staff. There will be 27 music lessons over the school year (36 weeks) so they will not have a lesson every week. The music teachers will sort a suitable time for your daughter’s lesson with her class teacher.

Labelling Uniform

Please make sure that every school item is named. There are two aged 9/10 new red PE sweatshirts and a 9/10 new school coat in the office all week – no names on any of them!

J5 Trip to Russborough House

J5R and J5W enjoyed a super day at CP Adventures in Wicklow on Tuesday. The sun was shining as we arrived at beautiful Russborough House early in the morning. We were split into 4 groups and each group worked their way through wall climbing, archery, the zipline, bushcraft, team building activities and a high ropes course. It was a super day and we enjoyed everything, but the highlights were toasting marshmallows over a fire we had built ourselves and conquering fears to launch onto a scream-inducing zipline!

Happy Roald Dahl Day 2021!

Since Roald Dahl Day is coming up next Monday, our J6W students celebrated his wonderful books in our assembly this morning. Each group created a short slideshow on a book by Roald Dahl. We finished our assembly with a performance of “Umbrella” by Rihanna.

As yellow was Roald Dahl’s favourite colour, we are asking everyone to add something yellow to their school uniform on Monday.
