Wash those hands!!!

As part of Science week two weeks ago, we in Kg Lower wanted to see what was the best thing to use to get rid of germs from our hands. We used bread to do this experiment. We rubbed our hands with sanitiser, water on its own as well as hands washed with soap and water. As you can see from the photos, the bread that was rubbed with soap has the least amount of germs meaning that was the best thing to use to keep our hands clean. We were shocked by how many germs landed on the bread that was rubbed with water. We will definitely be using soap each time we wash our hands!

Retail Therapy in KG Lower!

For the past 2 weeks, the girls in KG Lower have been learning all about winter clothes as we have all noticed a drop in the temperature!! Each morning we use our weather forecaster eyes to decide what type of day we think it will be. We even got to take a trip to the KG Clothes shop. It sells skirts, shoes, school jumpers and so much more! We have been spending all of our money on some beautiful outfits to get us ready for the Christmas Showcase next week. We are so excited!!!

KG Upper making Notans

This week Kg Upper looked at the art of a Japanese inspired Notan that eliminates colour elements and is all about shapes. This lesson was perfect for Kg Upper to practise their cutting skills, explore positive and negative shapes while making their eye-catching compositions. We examined all sorts of shapes and had fun making shapes and moves with our bodies at the end of the lesson.

Science Fun in J3W

This week we have been scientists trying new methods with lots of different experiments. We all had a few days to write up our experiment, practise it and then present it in front of the class. Some didn't work and some worked exactly how they were planned. We had so much fun.
