Access to Alex
As part of our mission of creating and maintaining an inclusive learning environment, we believe that students from all backgrounds should be able to access an Alex education.
Access to Alex, our newly-launched programme, provides passionate students with full tuition and boarding from 1st to 6th Year. Successful candidates will reside in our state of the art boarding facilities at the heart of the campus.
Access to Alex is awarded on the basis of academic ambition, means, and a love of learning; this programme is means-tested for any successful candidates.
The Details
Access to Alex covers tuition and boarding fees from 1st to 6th Year, as well as access to our broad extra-curricular music, drama and sport programmes, where applicable.
Eligibility
Eligible 6th Class students must be resident in Ireland, including Northern Ireland.
Applicants must be at least 12 years of age on 1 January 2026 and must be in 6th Class in Primary School.
Students who have completed all or part of a 1st Year Secondary Course are not eligible for the programme. No exception will be made under any circumstances.

Register your interest in the Alex Access Programme on the form below. Please note that you will need to submit the following:
- A letter of recommendation from the student's principal
- A letter of recommendation from the student's classroom teacher
- The student's most recent Drumcondra test results
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview at a later date.
