About Us
The Alex Alumnae Association is a forum for Alex girls across the generations and across the globe to keep in touch and make a difference.
Formed in 1897 as the Alexandra Guild, our Alumnae Association originally set out to:
- ‘form a bond of union among past and present students’
- ‘keep past students in touch with the College’
- ‘encourage the undertaking by them of useful work’
- ‘interest them in, and inform them about, women’s work’
Today, those aims remain central to our endeavours, as we encourage past pupils from all walks of life to come together, network, share opportunities, support each other and the community.
Meet the Committee
Our Alumni Association Committee meets regularly on a voluntary basis to plan events, reunions and community initiatives. If you would like to be involved with a vibrant, women’s network made up of your fellow alumnae, email us at alumnae@alexandracollege.ie.
