Res Round Up December 2025

This month the girls went on some wonderful trips again including a cinema trip to Wicked for Good, shopping in the city centre, and a visit to the Live crib. Last weekend the girls all went bowling and as always the highlight of the year was the boarder Christmas party.

The girls went on a lovely cinema trip to Dundrum, where they enjoyed a private screening of Wicked 2. They loved having the whole cinema to themselves, singing along quietly, laughing together, and soaking up the magic of the film. It was a special and memorable experience for everyone.

This weekend's trip was to the city centre. They started the day with a little shopping, enjoying time together, and then went on to visit the live crib as a group. It was a lovely outing that everyone enjoyed.

Last weekend the girls had an exciting trip to bowling and visit the arcade. They laughed and cheered each other on while playing, celebrating every strike and high score. It was a fun-filled outing full of friendly competition, games, and memorable moments together.

Decorating Res for Christmas

Over the past couple of weeks, the girls have been decorating res, making it feel more like home. Everyone is thrilled that the Christmas tree is back up, and we all enjoy seeing it every day. It truly adds a warm, festive touch to the place.

Finally, the day we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Our annual Christmas party is happening! This celebration is the highlight of the year, especially since everyone comes from far away, and Christmas can be a challenging time for many.

The prefects organized their traditional Christmas dance, filling the evening with laughter, joy, and festive cheer. Everyone dressed up in Christmas jumpers, adding a fun and colorful touch to the celebrations. The night was made even more special with delicious food and especially the desserts 

A huge thank you to the canteen staff for preparing such delicious food, and to our boarding staff for making the evening truly special for everyone.
