News from The Hermione
Welcome Back to Res
We were delighted to welcome our boarders back after the Christmas break. Res quickly filled with familiar faces, laughter, and a great sense of energy as everyone settled back into routine. It was lovely to see the girls reconnect with friends and staff, sharing stories from the holidays. With bags unpacked and spirits high, the boarding community is refreshed, refocused, and ready to embrace the new term ahead.
Funderland at the RDS
The boarders kicked off the year in style with their first trip of the new year to Funderland. The day was filled with excitement, laughter, and plenty of energy as everyone enjoyed the rides, attractions, and time together. It was a brilliant way to start the new year, helping students relax, bond, and return to school feeling refreshed and full of great memories. A fun and successful outing all round!
Wax Museum
Students enjoyed a fascinating visit to the Wax Museum, where they explored lifelike figures from history, culture, and entertainment. Walking through the exhibits sparked plenty of curiosity, discussion, and photo opportunities, as students learned interesting facts along the way. The trip was both educational and enjoyable, offering a unique experience outside the classroom and a chance to see familiar faces from the past and present up close.
GoQuest
The boarders enjoyed an exciting trip to GoQuest, where teamwork and problem-solving took centre stage. Working in small groups, students tackled a series of challenges, puzzles, and tasks that tested their communication and creativity. The experience encouraged collaboration and confidence, all while being great fun. It was a lively and engaging day out that gave boarders the chance to learn, laugh, and work together.
