Stranger Things Watch Party
The long-awaited opening episode of Stranger Things Season 5 arrived on Netflix on Thursday, and our senior students marked the occasion with a watch party in the Junior Common Room. The premiere delivered all the suspense and tension we hoped for, and it was enjoyed by everyone who attended. A big thank you to the Canteen staff for supplying delicious hot chocolate, cupcakes, and cookies for the event.
November Birthdays
Each month, we celebrate our students’ birthdays with a special cake provided by the canteen. Happy birthday to all our November girls!
Arts and Crafts Evening
Last week, the girls enjoyed a fun and relaxing arts and crafts evening. They experimented with a variety of materials and techniques, from painting and drawing to making handmade decorations, letting their creativity flow freely. The room was filled with laughter and conversation as they shared ideas, offered each other tips, and admired one another’s work. It was a wonderful chance to unwind, connect, and create unique keepsakes, making the evening both enjoyable and memorable.
November Weekend Trips
Dublinia
Over the weekend, the girls enjoyed an educational and entertaining trip to Dublinia, where they immersed themselves in Dublin’s Viking and medieval past. They spent the day exploring interactive exhibits, trying on replica armor, and examining artifacts that brought history to life. Walking through the recreated streets of the old city, they imagined the hustle and bustle of markets, the clang of blacksmiths’ hammers, and the daily lives of people centuries ago. Along the way, they asked questions, shared laughs, and discovered fascinating stories about Dublin’s rich heritage. The trip combined learning with hands-on fun, leaving everyone with new insights, lasting memories, and a deeper appreciation for the city’s history.
Wonderlights at Malahide Castle
Over the weekend, the girls visited Malahide Castle for a delightful trip. They explored the castle’s impressive halls, taking in the rich history and beautiful architecture. Outside, they wandered through the expansive gardens and wooded paths, enjoying the fresh air and stopping for photos along the way.
